Travel wishlist 2019

Dear Reader,

Happy New Year!!!!

I have been lucky in 2018 and had the chance to travel far and often. I saw amazing things and visited fantastic destinations. Here are the places I hope to visit and experience in 2019.

New York City

This is already happening, which I am super excited about. I have received an internship offer in New York City and will be there for six months starting in February. While I have been before, it will be a new experience to live and work there. Looking forward to diving into the theater scene there and exploring all the US things you cannot get here in Europe.

Washington D.C. - Cherry Blossom

Another city I have visited before, but this time will be special. I am planning to take a train down from New York to experience the beautiful cherry blossoms. This is something that has been on my wishlist for a while and now I will get the chance to actually complete it.

Chicago

Chicago has a reputation of being an amazing city. Hoping that I will get a chance to visit it for a weekend and explore it. I have heard too much about the great things this city has to offer to skip it while so close.

San Francisco

I have never felt a huge pull towards the West Coast with the exception of San Francisco. I love the liveliness of the city and history you can track down. I would love to make it here during my time in NYC.

Mexico

Now you might remember that I was just here in August. During that trip, I fell in love with the country and cannot wait to go back and explore more of it. I would love to see the coast and the beautiful town of San Miguel de Allende. To explore more of the cities and nature and all the things I have not seen yet.

London

I have not visited London in over four years. I loved the city and would love to go back. There is so much more to see there and enjoy that the time I had would never be enough. Hopefully, I will get a chance to go again this year.

Greece

I have not been to Greece yet, but it has been on my wishlist for a long time. Hopefully, this year I will be able to fit it and enjoy these gorgeous landscapes and islands.

Istanbul

Istanbul has been on my list for a long time. That city has such an interesting pull and I would love to be able to explore the different parts and see how two cultures live so close together. I will have to find a few days to visit this amazing city hopefully this year.

Israel

Israel is one of the most interesting countries to visit for experiencing cultural differences close together in today's world. It has so much history to explore and gorgeous nature to see, that I feel like you could spend an endless time exploring it. There is so much to see from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv all the way to the beach and I hope to be able to do it.

So those are some of my travel wishlist 2019 destinations. Hopefully, I get to tick at least a few off this year and experience as much as I could last year. Where are you going this year? I would love to hear about your plans and dreams in the comments below or on social media.

Kisses,

Juli
